That was my only disappointment with this set. There wasn't a description about the bedding itself, and I was under the assumption that the blanket was a thin comforter. It's actually a fleece blanket with embroidered butterfly/swirls on it. The bedding itself is very cute and arrived in perfect condition; I just hope the blanket and sheets will be warm enough for my daughter in the winter. Overall, the set is very cute.
