I love it and so does my husband. The colors keep if from being to "girlie" and it's washable! The first thing I did was wash it to see how it would hold up and it washed beautifully (no running of colors, etc.)! No dry cleaning needed which was important since our cat sleeps at the end of the bed and sheds some. The aqua isn't too blue and the black as a velvety feel. The comforter doesn't seem too thick or too hot and will probably use my down comforter under this one in the winter. The ascent pillows are lovely and am trying to track down the curtains for the complete look. When it arrived we were very surprised to find the color is actually a sea foam green. Nonetheless she loved it. We painted the top 2/3 of the walls a sea foam green and the bottom 1/3 with black chalkboard paint. It really helped her round out the look... So I would say this is definitely a good buy! |
